New Renewable Energy Research Center aims to be global leader

A Renewable Energy Research Center is planned for Roseville, CA. The Center aims to be a global leader in renewable energy technology research.

The first focus of the Center is ethanol. It is working on securing patents for technologies it has developed to convert waste products into fuel. More "concrete" moves - like constructing an actual office building - is a lower priority at the moment. The market right now is ethanol, said a representative of the Center, and will be the #1 priority.
