After my brother's wedding in Naples, Florida, Joram and I drove down to Key West for a few days. One of the first things I noticed - besides the fabulous weather, beautiful homes and 300 bars - was the lack of solar panels anywhere.
After seeing so many solar-powered homes in Arizona retirement communities earlier this year, I was struck by not finding a single solar system on any building in this progressive community.
Can someone tell me why? Or did I miss something?
It looks like a recent Energy Summit examined how the Keys could use more renewable energy and use it more efficiently. Check out this write-up on next steps.
