Clean Energy Quick Clicks just published some good FAQs on wave power. Wave power hasn't received the attention here in the U.S. that it's earned in Europe, but I've seen it discussed more and more lately. Definitely a technology to keep an eye on.
  • Earth2Tech has a great post discussing energy policy trends over the last 30 years and a good outlook moving forward. Business has taken notice: Venture capital and private equity investments in clean energy technology has quadrupled in the last 2 years. So has government: More than 20 states have renewable energy standards requiring some part of the energy mix to come from renewable sources.

  • The New York Times profiles a small businesses in Washington DC that banded together and used a renewable power brokerage firm to arrange a deal to buy green power from their local utility.

Great post!

If the economics don't work, recycling efforts won't either.
As our little contribution to make this economics of recycling more appealing, blogs about people and companies that make money selling recycled or reused items, provide green services or help us reduce our dependency on non renewable resources.
