USPS Responds to My Renewable Energy Stamp Idea

A few weeks ago I blogged about India creating renewable energy postage stamps. I thought that was a good idea and contacted the United States Postal Service (USPS) about it.

Apparently we Americans submit thousands of ideas for stamps. Rather than email someone about it, I should write the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee and they consider all stamps.

Stamp ideas should be submitted at least three years in advance of proposed date of issue. I figure that we'll have a lot more renewable energy by then, making this idea an even timelier one. So, now I'm going to write the Stamp Advisory Committee with my idea.
