MN House Overrides Pawlenty Veto, Passes Transportation Bill

FINALLY we have a transportation bill! The Minnesota House of Representatives got the 90 votes needed to override Governor Pawlenty's veto, 91-41. This is the first time one of his vetoes has been overturned.

The raises the gas tax to raise money for road and bridge construction and expand transit options.

The Senate will take it on later today and it's expected to pass there easily.
