Green Business Loop

The latest I've read and heard about business and cleantech:

  • Office Depot (ODP) has launched a line of products with a high recycled material content. Office Depot Green includes remanufactured ink and toner cartridges, chairs made from recycled materials and Energy Star electronics. The line is marked by bright green packaging and some are certified by Green Seal, an independent, nonprofit organization. via GreenBiz.com
  • Cincinnati-based Melink Corporation has created a 500-watt solar photovoltaic "plug and play" system. It comes with an embedded inverter and a 3-prong electrical cord that you just plug into a socket and get power from the sun. Voila. And it costs less than $5,000. via Cleantech Blog
