What I'm Reading: How to Go Green in Hard Times

The Wall Street Journal reminds us why it's still smart to go green, even in tough economic times: It saves money.

Read the full article to learn more about what the WSJ chose as its 10 picks for sensible, energy-efficient improvements.

  1. High-tech thermostats
  2. Smarter water heating
  3. Sealing air leaks (I need to do this one)
  4. Low-flow fixtures
  5. Leasing solar panels
  6. Air filters
  7. Compact fluorescent lights
  8. Lighting motion sensors
  9. Window treatments
  10. Attic insulation

Hi Maria,

I was looking for some reading material for this weekend and your post has given me that.

I also promote 'Go Green Movement' and recently brought zero pollution, no gasoline electric bike from R Martin to support the cause. A good option in this hard cash economy.
