Maria Energia Talks Wind Power on Minnesota Public Radio

Jeff and Sanden, the fab guys over at MPR's In the Loop produce a weekly podcast and invited me over to talk about what I saw and learned at the American Wind Energy Associaton's WINDPOWER conference earlier this month. My segment starts at about 35:30, but listen to the whole thing to hear "Are companies using the economy to take advantage of us?" "Is it time to go back to Sri Lanka?" and "Can old people learn to podcast?" - including some great user-generated content.

Maria,
Absolutely, "old people" can podcast. I spoke about this on my podcast at http://schoolofpodcasting.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=326091

I've had people in the 60s learn to podcast, and I've helped people in their teens. It's not that hard in the first place. The first hurdle (in some cases) is the mind.

That's fantastic! It's so great that different generations are accessing social media.
